I am excited to report that one of the
most significant healthcare projects
in the Antelope Valley -- in more
than 40 years -- is well on its way
to completion. Palmdale Regional
Medical Center, located at Palmdale
Boulevard and Terra Subida, is
scheduled to open in the Fall
of 2009.
The programs now available at Lancaster Community
Hospital will be relocated to the Palmdale facility. New
services at Palmdale Regional Medical Center will include
Obstetrics, Pediatrics and Neonatal Intensive Care.

Physician recruitment for Palmdale Regional Medical
Center and the new services available there is focused on
medical and surgical specialties. Supporting this effort
is a 60,000-square-foot medical office building -- which
will be ready for physician occupancy by the first quarter
of 2009 -- on Palmdale Regional Medical Center's
campus.
We thank the community for its support and
encouragement in meeting the healthcare needs of
the Antelope Valley.
